The words I spoke to ease my pain, seems to only have made you mad.
I never meant to hurt you-I never meant to make you sad.
For every smile you gave me my heart burst with joy.
But unbeknownst to me it was that you would destroy.
To fill the empty gaping hole inside you that was a deep abyss.
The broken heart I have now you did only to assist.
My tears are drying now hopefully soon for good.
Even though the words I spoke to you, it seems you misunderstood.
For we've created the best memories and in my mind they'll stay.
Many more we shall create in a not too distant day.
I care more for you, than you'll ever know.
My hidden feeelings we're only mine to bestow.
For I want to keep you in my life forever at least a friend.
And hopefully this time apart my heart it can mend.
I think about you often and long for us to tak.
But this time to clear my head the deeper friendship I wish to unlock.
I see all the special gifts and talents that you store inside.
But I'm broken from all of the feelings I've been denied.
I wish us a happy ending and that we shall reunite.
Hopefully we can focus on that day and at the end of the tunnel see a light.
