Poetry: Friendship & Soulmates
Letting Go is Hard
by Ria

I lied,
I cried,
I cheated,
And I hated.
Hated me, myself, and I.
For causing you so much pain,
For leaving you with nothing to gain.

But as much as I hurt you,
I could only remember one thing.
And that is how much,
I wish I didn't stay loving.

Loving you,
For all that you do.
For all that you are,
But in the end,
I left you with a scar.

But now I'm okay,
I don't regret anything today.
You already said goodbye,
So why should I cry?

I still haven't let go,
But my hate for you shall grow.
I don't know why I do so,
I guess I just don't wanna know.

Your memories shall stay,
They will never go away.
You will always be in my head
And in my heart.
But all I'm thinking,
Is a brand new start.

I'll stay regretful,
For all that I did.
But never will I,
Take back all I've said.

So I leave you these words,
To stop me from the hurting.
And tell you about,
All that I have been feeling.

-To the guy with the initials PN
My first and only tru luv.
