Silent Scream

Some are open,honest and true,
while others will play games with you.
But what of those who only dream?
Who will hear their silent scream?
Their smiling faces sometimes hide
a sorrow burried deep inside.
They dwell in darkness of the night
and hope that soon they'll find a light
that gives their dream a place to start
and warms a lonely broken heart.
Who will hear the silent scream
of those who dream the silent dream?
It's those who care and understand
that some just need a helping hand.
