the pictures always develop a little late
the memories always show up
in the midst of attempted forgettal
here we are looking happy
unaware of what will come in the future
unaware of what comes tomorrow
which was really three months ago
i always forget to drop disposable cameras
in the developing envelope
so they always show up a little late
and when i think i forget it
