Poetry: Heartbreak & Healing
The family guy
by leanne

(to the girlfriend)

I watch him hold your hand and laugh,
Thinking about the time when he held mine,
You may think i'm jealouse or just bitter,
But i'm telling you i'm now more than fine,
youre very naive but you don't even know,
For some reason you can't seem to see,
He'll hurt you i warn you it's true,
The same way that he hurt me,
He cheated and lied and broke my heart,
Though you may think what i say is a lie,
I promise you he'll ruin your life,
Because he'll never be a family guy,
And now your pregnant with his child,
And if you think labours a pain,
Wait till he breaks you and takes your confidence,
He'll always be the same, he can't change,
And just take my advive and watch him like a hawk,
Not long and you'll cy,
I warned you to save you but you never listened,
Just remember he's no family guy.
