One Minute’s Silence Is Not Enough
by Daniel Hudson
One Minute’s Silence Is Not Enough
With the world I am mourning; one minutes’ silence is not enough
Everything’s fallen apart; forever my sea is rough
Why did they have to go? I hear myself shouting out loud
To anyone who’s listening; to every single heavenly cloud
For our hearts are broken; inside I can feel the pain
This earth must be hell; truth becomes the shame
Where two little angels have gone; I hope it’s better than here
Away from the anger; denial and away from all the fear
I see the sadness in the flowers; laid out in respect
And a child crying; this world is in neglect
Two roses vanished; but forever in our hearts
Even when we fade away; but the love never parts
For evil cannot hurt them; two special stars added to the night’s sky
Two roses and a million tears; within the question why?
Straight from the heart; these words are no bluff
May God forever bless them; one minute’s silence is never enough…
For Holly and Jessica
One minute’s silence is not enough…
