The past four months have been hard on you and me
We talked about a new love for you and a lost love for me
My heart has been broken many times because of what you say So I pray, please God don't let it be this way
I have looked a myself and with displeasure I found
that the way I had treated her caused her heart to be bound
Her heart was bound to the point of despair
that allowed another man to come in and care
This man that came in unbound her heart
and now she hopes they will never part
I realized, maybe to late
what could possible be my fate
This new love has taken my place
and all I have is the pain on my face
I love her more now than I ever have before
but it maybe to late for now and evermore
There is a hope that comes from above
that gives me strength and magnifies my love
I love her to much to give up the fight
she is worth ever pain and with all my might
I will stand up for her and fight a good fight
until that day comes when she is with me a night
And I pray to my Father in Heaven every day
