Poetry: Heartbreak & Healing
You
by Tamara

You faded away
And your not here
All I wish and want
Is for you to be near

Your eyes, your nose,
Your lips, your kiss
All of these belong to you
All of these I miss

When you were with me
Losing you was my fear
You left without a good-bye
Now my life isn’t clear

Now that your not here with me
I’m not myself any more
In my hand I hold a blade
I’m gonna walk out the door

Heaven or Hell is behind that door
I’ll be with you soon, you’ll see
When the blade enters me
In your arms is where I’ll be

Looking at the blade
I start to shake
Some-one yells my name
But there to late

Am I dead?
Am I alive?
Every thing went black
But now it’s white

Behind that door was heaven
I know as I look around
In the distance I see a man
And know it’s you I’ve found.
