it is ever flying
always moving

touching hearts of millions
whenever she stays long
enough to be seen
in a child's eyes
in lovers' bonds
in an emerald tree
angainst the darkest sky
we always try to copy her
and may think we have
captured her but
her sisters simply take her place
and give us grace and poise
honesty and justice
lovely and charming
witty and nice
grateful and rewarding
but never fully beauty
for beauty is not a moment
captured on film or canvas
beauty is alive and well
and moving in our souls
