Poetry: Heartbreak & Healing
Death Train
by B. Monterey

Ciggerettes and Bottled beer...
Tend to make my life sincere...
Disregard my spelling errors,
in this world we hold so dear.
Turn the page and hear my fears,
outbursts of anger and tears...
Policies of love and hate, make it hard to concentrate...Why can't death be my fate?
Partying hard will leave a scar...
but who am I to lower the bar?
Death is life, and life is death...
What a feeling my so called last breath.
They say I'm negative, but they don't feel the pain or think about the death train...
All I want to do is stay sane...
Who is to blame? Society?
Blame is such a horrid word contemplated in the mind of the bored!
Good-bye to pain...take away the stain...at last aboard the death train.
