Burning Tears

when you say forever,
i cant believe you.
when you say you love me,
i wont believe you.
when you say youll be there,
why should I believe you?
when you say you care about me,
how can i believe you?
every word is a lie.
every word makes me cry.
why cant you be truthful,
and let me be?
when water runs down my cheek,
will you see?
ive turned against you,
its like a flame.
i try so hard to get away,
but the fire inside lives on.
my tears are forever burning.
