Poetry: Heartbreak & Healing
You've Used Me Enough
by Elizabeth H.

So you didn’t want to lose your chance-
When you only screwed it up.
Thought that everything would be fine-
As long as I’m not with another.
You have to be the most selfish person I have seen.
It doesn’t matter about me-
As long as it’s you that came out happy.
Time you learned you can’t have it all .
You’ve called me names, and stole my true love
Fondled my mind, exploited my body.
You’ve used! Used! Used everything I have,
And lied to me so many times-
The truth shall never be uncovered.
No way will I ever wait
For you to come or call me.
I’m already on the rebound, I should say-
I’ll find a nice guy to ravish me,
Instead of you, you dirty cheating freak.
I’ll make sure you can’t use me,
Or my goodwill and heart ever ever again.
