he was seducing me
with his knife
until his tongue
slowly
brushed the mango
juice from his wrist
over raised veins, peeled
over his ring
sweet goldenrod slice
until pastel nectar bathed my lips
and he smiled a smile
not quite appropriate
for the small chat we had
