A life lost in love
Living forever in strife
Wishing to fly away as a dove
Reaching out for a helping hand
Wondering what will come to me first
All alone in a desert of sand
Searching for the oasis where I’ll quench my thirst
My life drowns in these waters deep
In this time of darkness I cannot see
These loves I’ve found are shallow and cheep
As I loose hope this journey I flee
I left my home for love I dreamt to find
And found it true in the friend I left behind
