Poetry: Heartbreak & Healing
Alcie in WOnderland
by Courtney

sitting on a mushroom,
eating apple pie,
hitting thru the hookah,
looking at the sky.

pillows rain down on me,
sleep sings in my ear,
everything starts spinning
as my eyes begin to tear.

dont stop hittng thru the hookah,
dont let your dreams escape,
caterpillar smoking,
changing his old shape.

dont leave when leaves turn yellow,
or when the sky begins to dim,
let the sun shine down upon you,
as your frown turns to a grin.

watch the oysters sing in heaven,
let the walrus rot in hell,
play croquet with the queen,
and listen to her yell.

happy as the hatter,
crazy as the cat,
let your dreams just shatter,
passed out face down flat.

Where is alice going?
shrooms control her head,
opening her eyes,
glossy and all red.

Are you tired alice?
have cup of tea,
grab a pipe,
smoke a joint,
then paa it down to me.

running to the rabbit,
running from the feel,
wake up sleepy alice,
for none of this is real
