Poetry: Unrequited Love
Remember
by Lena Milstone

Dont you think that when you are seperated by an ocean things get easier to forget???
I remember
I saw you, you saw me
Everynight we were together meant the ending was drawing near
I still remember
The words you said, the words I can't forget
Your face still haunts my dream
I dont want to remember
I walked away without looking back
Promises were broken
Words left unsaid
We knew it was going to come to an end
We didnt know we would end up like this
All i wanted was a vacation
What I found was you
What did we honestly expect?
Certainly not each other
But I just wanted you to know
I'll always remember
