Poetry: Unrequited Love
House of Noise
by vinny

"The house of noise," Annie called it,
Remember?
Is that the whining sound I hear these nights?
The passage of broken dreams near-bye?
This place wasn't meant for me.
I shouldn't be here,
Not alone,
Not without your love.
It's time for me to bid fairwell.
Tell everyone I did my best.
Never say I didn't try,
My Love.
Never think I won't again,
When next we meet.
