Touch, out-stretched and open palmed--
Feathered fire, just a light brush, off
Flickering faintly from red fingernails
Across chest hair, overwelming my rough
Outworn sensibilities, obsolete carriage,
All the baggage of chivalrous service,
Regal bearing, and ill spent, noble gestures;
Burnt full open, I lie prone, heart-stricken.
