Poetry: Unrequited Love
Guidence
by Bill Osienski

The stars that linger within the sky, each represents a part of me. For every part of them that I inhibit, corresponds to a moment with you in it. Since you left you took with you, every star that I once knew. My sky that was once bright, has now simply faded. I see now but a couple, which once used to be, the countless I remember. The night sky is now so dim, that darkness encompasses everywhere I've been. I am the infamous sailor with no compass, for the stars I once used are now forgotten. I am now but lost, with know where to go. Nothing to guide me, back from where I came. I have come to far, to turn back now. For surly if I try, lost I will be forever.
