Poetry: Unrequited Love
Loving You
by Bill Osienski

Loving you was amazing
Holding you was sensational
Kissing you was astronomical
Losing you was the worst

To me, you and I were one
I knew I had something special
So I held on and did anything
Everything I did was to make you happy

When you were happy
All but my heart stopped
If I could give you anything I would
There is nothing you could ask of me and I'd say no

What I did for you was for love
It did not bother me b/c I knew I was doing it for love
And for that love I would give it all up
So much has now been wasted

If I could find that love again
You would have to pry my fingers apart
To get me to let go again
You where my world and my dreams

Love you Hunny Bear
