Poetry: Unrequited Love
R.S.C.
by Jewelles

He has the face of an Angel,
With eyes that pierce my soul.
A smile that weakens all senses,
A vessel of heat beyond my control.

He had me in an instant,
The moment he walked in the door.
Rekindling and archived feeling,
I thought I had no more.

But I couldn't break this man of steel,
All my affection and love deflected.
He reopened my heart just for fun,
To leave me foolishly lost and rejected.

But it doesn't stop me from caring,
It doesn't stop me from wanting him more.
It doesn't stop me from wishing and hoping,
That again he will walk through my door.
