I See You
by Philip Alger
I see you as a flower
So soft and sweet and fragile.
But I see you have great power
And you're swift and strong and agile.
I see you as a mountain
With heights that soar above
I see you as a fountain
So bubbly and full of love
I see you as the ocean,
With depth beyond compare.
You live with great emotion,
And wisdom you should share.
I see you as a friend,
With a soul that I can see.
And I think that in the end,
It's a friend that I will be.
