Poetry: Unrequited Love
Forbidden Love
by Austina Frazier

You and I were meant to be...
You and I shared a dream...
we fought for our love...
day to day...
but too many people were in our way...
So many asked...
How could we be?...
We came from two different worlds...
One strict...one free...
Love has no boundaries...
thats what we believe...
You and I shared a dream...
Now seperated by hate...
What was there to gain?...
Are they happy now?...
seeing us in pain...
from two different worlds...
we paid the price...
love for each other...
was the Ultimate Sacrafice...
Prejudism is no lie...
fight back for love...
for in love there is no crime...
farewell my love...
I'm forced to let you go...
remember I love you...
mind, body and soul...
I know in my heart we'll meet again...
God will guide us...
he's our only friend...
I'll be waiting for you...
with my arm's open wide...
Take care...
I'll miss you...
Love you...
and
Good bye.
