Poetry: Unrequited Love
You're Gone
by Jackie

I sit and stare
As my world falls apart
There's nothing I can do
To mend my broken heart

I put on a smile
And pretend nothings wrong
When I'm listening to the radio
And hear a sad love song

The birds don't sing
The sun doesn't shine
The flowers don't bloom
When you're not mine

I watched you walk away
And you never turned around
I tried to call your name
But I couldn't make a sound

Now I see you
And you still look great
I still think you're the one
I still think it's fate
