Poetry: Unrequited Love
All these years
by Russell Wilson

All these years of loving you and wanting you invain
please forgive me darling if I don't say your name
it would cause too much pain and sorrow to be felt
too many hearts would ache like mine for love that I
can't help
All these years of avoiding you to forget you was my scheme.
But it didn't work for even now I see you when I dream.
Cause I did love you years ago when a letter I denide
I wrote you and confessed my love then I said I lied
for fear of your laughing or turning me away
I told you I was joking how I regret that today
All these years of knowing pain of love I once
denide no one must ever know your name and You'll
never know I lied
