I have scaled these hills
lost in a time that's now dead
felt the deftly chill
in the words they said

Still have not found
what I'm looking for
thought I was close
a few times before

But it all ended
in the facade of illusion
still don't know what to think
it left me in confusion

There is no way
ever to get that back
it's all in darkened shadows
all it's light faded to black

Nothing can be done
somehow standing in broken chains
everything has become different
