Poetry: Unrequited Love
I want to say...
by Erica

I've known you all my life
but i don't know who you are
i don't know your laugh
i don't know your cry
i don't know if you were happy
i don't know if you were sad
i heard nothing good about you
i remember something
some good, some bad
i look just like you
sometimes i even act like you
you're a big part of my life
even though you're not here
i feel you all around me
i know you guide me through
if i ever need anyone, i just turn to you
we're like the oldest friends
but we're but young at heart
if i could change it
i would only change one part
i never got to say goodbye
but now it's time to let go
you're going to a peaceful place
as soon as i give you the go
i forgive you are the three words
i have to say to let you lay in peace
but i love you are the three words
i want to say to know that it will
always be this way.
