Poetry: Unrequited Love
Please Wait!
by Patrick J Horn

Wait my love ,...please wait,...like the leaves of autumn await the fall, and the winters chill awaits,...the beaming rays, of locust choired lazy days...
Wait,...my love,..please wait! Like the creeping broth of a meadow brook plunges onward, oceanbound. And the silent artist of the caves,...slowly sculpts in endless ways!
Wait,...my love ,...please wait!,...like my lips await your tender cheek,..and my heart, your gentle touch,....and love, to give as much.
Wait,...my love,...please wait,....till this dream that eludes me day and night,...when this mist before my eyes shall clear, and you....are in my sight!...so please wait!......
Yeah...this lonliness hits hard,...chaulking up another mark, as the distant sun slips neath tranquil waters......and dusk gives way to dark.....and so, I hide, and seek a while,...as visions of your figure your smile,...
haunt this soul of mine.....outside, "you see," I'm fine!...
Hmnnn.......wonder whats for keeps?
