OUR STAR

OUR STAR
We stood and look up very high
and there it was above us.
It twinkled so bright in that big black
sky as if there were no others.
We watched it for so very long
snuggled close together.
When I turned and saw you're
eyes it made my heart race on.
That twinkling star was shining
bright but it wasn't in the sky.
The twinkle from our shining star
was in you're eyes like heaven.
My love for you is like that star
burning brighter each day.
