Una Bella Sera...Una Bella Noche
by Jaded Surreal
I am writing to you from a world wrapped in mystery.
Pouring my soul out...to you...you know my history.
The source is upon the course, whose path I have graced.
And when this path has worn thin, I still have your face.
Outlined in the stars, shone brilliantly at night.
Out of bounds, out of mind, but not out of sight.
Your red gown and blonde crown,
They compliment your essence.
But when I asked...you frowned,
"Why would you ask me THAT question."
Rejected, outright. I thought the Lord sent you to me.
But not here, or right now, in this land of misery.
Where a smile and kiss can be easily missed.
Mistaken for genuine affection, that does not exist.
Your mark is etched upon my soul, nonetheless.
And I will keep waiting for you...
Your promising smile and red dress.
