Untitled
by caleb evans
Wandering alone, down the weary river of black.
Wrapped in the living blanket of moonlight,
Concealing me from the world.
I, who have never known contentment,
Apart from my beloved's embrace.
The stars glare down upon me,
Forcing my gaze to my feet,
Bowing my head in submission to the mantel of worries,
My life has placed upon me.
I need to see you, feel you, taste you.
You are an integral part of my soul,
Without you I cannot live.
