Equilibrium
by Brinti Dufour
You’re ever so brown delightful skin,
Next to mine like pearly porcelain
Distinctions were made, by society
All we offer each other is piety
They look at us like were unethical,
Have they not heard of reality?
Our love is so diverse
Its like a smooth beat over a breath
taking verse,
Played by an Egyptian flutist,
Danced to by a polish woman
and a man from a Moroccan decent,
Like a love between them growing,
the music gets louder when the song is over
there is a crowd around them
A nip and sting upon her cheek
A sudden change has brought a heat
Gaping, Ogling, Staring eyes
Hounding rears me flipside back
It’s all over, just like that
My heart wide open oozing passion
Has been sewed up and then subsided
Smoldering, blistering, steaming hot
I can feel it you can not
The feelings underneath my skin
are scratching scraping to get in
Absorbed, Immersed I let you in
The feelings of love always win
