Poetry: Unrequited Love
Unlove Dance
by Debby Sandoval

You swept me off my feet, then you brushed me away.
You placed me on a pedestal, then tore me apart with things you'd say.
I did'nt want to be alone you wanted out and on your own.
I thought you really needed me, you only needed to break my heart.
What I thought would last a life time, lasted only until we fell apart

Don't think I'll ever take the chance of loving someone new. For all the love I had inside is gone.
I gave it all to you.
