A Never Ending Cycle

hopes got so high,
of a future not to be,
they all thought that it would work,
except for you and me.
for awhile i beleived them,
which was a big mistake.
i guess i never realized,
the feelings i had were fake.
and yours were never there...
so why am i so determined?
when i kno nothing will resolve.
theres nothing i can gain from
persistance,
fidelity,
wating around,anymore.
all it does is cause more pain...
