Poetry: Unrequited Love
Silent Longings
by Kevin Morris

silent longings that wait to burst free,
so many emotions and pent up energy.
a quiet form that sits so lonely.
in a reflection, I see a vision of me.
long curly hair that softly cascades.
rich dark brown waves that frame my face.
soft blue eyes that gently raise,
to see you standing and meet my gaze.
arms crossed over your massive chest,
my heart pounding beneath my breasts.
now unable to catch my breath,
aching for your gentle caress.
a single touch on my face,
wanting to be in your firm embrace.
To taste your sweet lips is what I crave...
take me now to be your slave.
