Poetry: Secret Love
Ivanka
by Allan Traphagan

Billowing behind and all about
within shimmering Shantung,
humming bird green and ruby
throat sheen.......
careful as a cat,
her feet,.......
down wet stone
steps......
breathing macbre sighs,
in boredom that fades
her complexion before the
ignorance of common lovers.

Her face,
shining like depression glass,
drifting past diamond granite
walls,
a glimmering shadow of
frustratiion ....
and too much breeding with
greatness.

She thinks I am
overwhelmed and fearfuly
willows away......she
wanted me to follow
into the light,
but I could plainlly see,
that she was worried and afraid ,
that I might..........

I loved it!
It was good.
I'm pretty neutral.
Not really my style.
It left me cold.
