Poetry: Secret Love
Why did you leave?
by natalia wegrzyniak

I lay on my back
I wonder why did you leave?
You went so far away
I have almost forgotten.
The smell of your cloths
When you held me close.
The touch of your skin
That held my hand.
I almost have forgotten
Those deep brown eyes.
Those eyes having a meaning
Deeper then my own.
Your gaze looking at me
Searching for a meaning.
I dreaded that day
That you had to leave.
The day that I would see you last
When our time together was in the past.
I cry for you every day
Hoping to wake to find you still here.
Our time will never be forgotten
It will be in my heart.
My only question is,
Why did you have to leave?
