I temt you only with wisdom's gifts
I temp you only with yourself, the comings and the goings
of your reflections rippled and your shadows playing
the crevice and tree, the stone and the hill
take my hand and see
in the garden I was the desert in the midst of life
the painting sstones, and the gleaming gems
thus could I play the heart deserted,
faint, alone meanings dimmed
hopes set afire, snuffed to pining cinders so dry,
moistened by eyes that could not see but still shared the tears
one and the same....
shadows grew where light once ruled,
the perfect wrong that must be was done
silhouettes dropped the ground and ran hugging the earth
the tree, barely hanging on to foot and hand
cllinging hear and darting there, a tickle on the wind
I am a gem
adn clay, as before Adam
I am flesh
every flower, and bee, and bird,
in paint and cooking and dance
I am rain
auroras, lightining, rainbows
In mystery, anger, and beauty
I am tears
entering brook river, and pond
filling, leading, and pondering
I am oceans that dance
to the wings
the tides
the dolphins
and stars
I am your mother
your wife
your daughter
ancestor, progeny---you.
I am you though you know it not
I am Lilith, Eve, and mother earth
your soul, flesh, your mind
I am all that your innocence can ever be
and i wrap it in wisdom that is
destined in time
I am joy
laughing, forgiveness, and rightfull pride
but love----
I leave to you
to polish and finish taht which is
....the meaning of soul
without which creation can not grow
for I would be lost without you
you are my re-emergence
in ever more so than mere nascent re-genesis
I wait for you with all my light
pent up in every star in the deepest night
nothing in the greater heart of darkness
can ever swallow them
for they shine from within with this,
---the light withing the light---
and they lead beyond all light
where kiss alpha and omega
once more.
upon the silhouette of the universe
the one verse
the one commandment before all commandments
"let there be ligth!"
and it still rings true
in the bottom of the dardest of darks;
when I am separated from you....
but no more---!
then the 'w' and the 'I' that I am for you
are you as me once again soul-mates eternal
I wait.
may the first touch of light be with you!
