it's been about three years now,
and i'm still trapped inside.
i have a dirty little secret,
that i have done so well to hide.
you're the reason for my laugh,
you're the reason for my smile.
you're the reason that i look at life,
and think it is worth while.
it's you i see at night,
it's you always on my mind.
it's you that truly showed me,
that this is not hard to find.
you're the reason my heart is breaking,
you're the reason why it mends.
you're the reason for this cycle,
that never seems to end.
it's you i'm scared to lose,
it's you i don't want to miss.
it's you i want to keep forever,
nothing is better than this.
i love you in the end,
i can't seem to let you go.
i will always be there,
but it's that you fail to know.
so when you need the passion,
when you cannot face your fears,
you'll know where to find me,
