No matter how close I stand to you,
I seem so far away.
No matter how close I get to you,
you do not seem to care.
I could stand right on top of your heart,
and you still wouldn't notice!
No matter how hard I try.
You seem so far away!
I don't know how to get closer.
When I thought I could reach you
I reached for your hand,
And I didn't even come close!
Why do I feel this way?
I need to find a way to get to you
Notice me and grab my hand,
So we could be happy together
But no matter how close I get to you
I still seem so far away...
