My mind is blank and my heart breaks,
it sinks lower into my chest.
A thousand tears cried and lots of sleepless nights,
all fall below the rest.

My soul is bound and you are never around,
it doesn't seem right.
A thousand hearts broken and I am just one of them,
so why try to even fight?

My mouth can't speak and my tongue is tied,
so nothing is ever said.
A thousand words left unspoken and you overlook me,
sometimes I wish I were dead.

My eyes won't dry and I can't stop crying,
its because of you.
A thousand tears are washed away and I feel stupid,
now I don't know what to do.

My thoughts are misleading and I can't breathe,
I feel so thrown away.
A thousand poems unread and you don't understand,
its you who makes me feel this way
