ONE TEAR THAT NEVER FELL

One tear that never fell,
that was the day I said goodbye.

Many words unspoken, locked inside my heart.

Through the window of my eyes,
that's the way I said goodbye.

I knew you weren't for me,
but still I laid my heart out to be broken.

So today, I sit here, thinking...
On this day I said goodbye without a word.

With that one teardrop in my eye,
that one tear that never fell.
