Inside your eyes, your world divides,
your spirit and your soul collide
So hard you try, to hide the pain
Yet tears they waterfall like rain,
and all the love you have inside
It lives within the tears you cry
Upon your face each one that dries
leaves a footprint of a dream that died
Outside your window life moves by
and you feel frozen, paralyzed,
almost as if your hypnotized
You pray with everything you are
to one day spread your wings and fly
Escape this life and break these ties
to release all of the love you feel
To end the dream and make it real

to unlock the cage your spirits in
You need to focus, stay in control
to light the shadows in your soul
And give to colors that have greyed

just make a plan, and then escape

make that leap, Before you really are too deep
