I wish I could be with her
Just one more time,
So I could hold a memory
Of her being mine.

It's sad I didn’t see her
I should've had the strength,
To call her up and ask her out
And take her on a date.

Now the chance has come and gone
I’m filled with deep regret,
Though my life is moving on again
She’s one I won’t forget.

I wish I’d got to know her
Even better than before,
She’d always been a friend to me
But never something more.

Now I’ll know for next time
To tell her how I feel,
To let her know my feelings
And make my dreams be real.
