Frost is retreating across the meadow
Green fingers stretch towards the woods
White shadows of trees appear
Sculpted by the rising sun
Warm light soft on your face
Morning’s first kiss
Each day I am born into your love
My world turns towards you
We will dance in the kitchen
With the dog keeping time
The sweet dance of timeless love
To honor God’s favor of this day
Of all we shared on loves journey
Nothing is sweeter on my mind
Than dancing with you in the kitchen
