Poetry: Life Long Love
Stardust
by Muna Vega

The wings of the dragonfly have always given me strength
When a wind from the west, threatens my very soul.
All that I could ever give to his smile, I would protect for an eternity an more.
Ever little of the stardust that falls into your eyes is a peice of our fantisies
And our dreams will lead us to the emerald fields, inside you heart.

The stars in the sky are close to everything I'd ever want
I try to find you amongst their light
and you never like to hear about the cloudless night when we can't see the moon and all it's glory
I promise that some day it will come back to us.

I cry whenever I see his torn and tattered face in his mother's broken mirror on a homemade vanity
He says that he will love this town an all it's strength
Hidden in a clause of time, untouched by spoken rhyme.
His demise is in the ones who ignore him an he's always on the lips of someone's envious smile
I know that he will be a person who will easily forget my face,
so I say good bye.

The stars in the sky are close to everything you'd ever want
The meaning of our times revolves around your innocence and I would never stop to see if I could save it.
For you're a person who can protect himself and his memories.

The stars in the sky are close to everything I'd ever want
We can't see the moon on this cloudy night
so the rain will come down all the same and I'm sorry if it dampens your smile which is so bright.

The stars in the sky are close to everything that we dream
I wonder if I can share a ride Summerland
the stars in my hair turn into shattered dying dust,
and all I wish is for you to forever cherish me
I'm forever endebted to your memory
