Poetry: Life Long Love
my time and your time
by katy

a lonely figure through the mist
mourning in his voice like dove
with a mouth of sorrow
but pure eyes of love

lilies grew sweet
the sun grew bright
the world shone gold
from your radiant light

throught the dark trees
we're running, we run
our hearts beat with love
our hearts beat as one

our hearts full of joy
our souls with strenght soar
till that fateful day
when we were no more

a speck of love it devours whole
our world, a lion den
but my love for you survives
times by thousands of ten

till the sun sinks into the sea
till gone are the last golden rays
till then i'll wait here
till slowly comes that day

my time and your time
with their own cruel minds
they met in the center
then left each other behind
