Lost Hope

Another lonely night is near,
for tonight, I sing a song of sorrow.
As I feel a rising fear
of shattered dreams and lost tomorrows.
Withing my heart I see a space
and want to run but only find
a single tear upon my face
and no escape withing my mind.
I call for help,
but no one's near.
A silent scream,
a second tear.
