Deep Love
by marcia morris
I have records of our relationship
filed and stored way behind the back of my mind
Signed and sealed
never to be released
The love we shared was like a movie
which I've secretly played,
over and over again
with you being the main leading man
it began with sweet rain drop kisses,
never missing a beat of the smooth tasty treat
We'd stop only for air, when you gently
stroke my hair, then I would look into,
your eyes, the ones that would never
say good bye
You were my daily meals,
you meant so much to me
I lie in bed and was fed
red wine and bread
dreading that one day you'll
go away to a place that was safe
Leaving me behind
with memories in my mind
stored away in a computer
which only I have access to
