Poetry: Life Long Love
The Night
by Kristina

The night was cold and empty inside
The house was filled with sadness and lies
On the outside she seemed happy and loved
but on the inside she was ready to give up
She couldn't live with the pain that all remained
She wanted to die but leave me the same
with the knocking on the door and no answer inside I began to feel nothing i could do would keep her alive
My heart became broken, my chest became heavy
How could my girlfriend want to be in heaven?
With her crying out loud and the tear's rolling down her face, all i wanted to do is wipe them from her face
As the door crept open, my heart began to pound
As i looked in her eyes, i felt she wouldn't be found
Later that night while, we lay in bed me holding you didn't want you dead
I didn't want that moment to end
